What Steady is

Steady is a fasting timer and a coach for the hard hours. It is not a medical device and it is not a substitute for your doctor. It cannot measure anything about your body, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and nothing it says is medical advice.

The coach is generated by an AI language model. It works from what you have told the app and can be wrong, generic or unhelpful. Treat it as a well-meaning voice, not an authority, and never as a reason to ignore how you feel.

Your responsibility

You decide whether to fast, for how long, and when to stop. Steady counts hours and talks to you; it cannot see you and does not know your health. Read the health disclosure before you start.

• If you feel unwell during a fast, stop and eat. Always. No window is worth it.
• If you take medication or manage a health condition, talk to your doctor before you start fasting.

Subscription

Steady is a paid subscription, billed through your Apple ID. It renews automatically at the price shown when you subscribed unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel or change it at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings; cancelling keeps access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Steady.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to extract the coach service for other purposes, circumvent the subscription check, or send the service anything other than what the app sends on your behalf. The service is rate-limited and may refuse requests that look like abuse.

Availability

The timer, check-ins and your history work without a connection. The coach needs one, and may be unavailable from time to time. When it is, Steady says so rather than pretending.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Steady is provided as-is, and ChamsDel Online LLC is not liable for decisions you make about eating, fasting, medication or your health on the basis of anything the app shows or says. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
